Closets anyone?
Lets add a little more creativity here shall we? We’ve decided to add a little extra touch of realism to this group. Anyone wished they could actually dress their characters? That costume party coming up, wouldn’t you love seeing what kind of outfits people would actually wear? Well we’re giving you guys the opportunity to show us more of your character. Here’s what you do:
1. Go to Polyvore.com and create an account.
2. After that you hit create, which is located on the top links. This should open up something like this.
3. You simply use the search engine on the right side and drag the articles of clothing you’d like on the blank canvas on the left side. You can edit the way things are placed with the tools on the top of the canvas.
Heres where it gets a little tricky. This is for guys [as you can tell, there arent a lot of guy stuff] or girls who want to look outside of ployvore. You have to bookmark the ‘clipper’ to your web browser. You can get that here.
That lets you browse any site online [online stores like Topshop, AE, etc.] and it lets you clip whatever piece of clothing or any accessory from that site to add to your polyvore. [it’ll be under ‘my items’]
Now this isn’t mandatory and I know it may look a little tricky but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually a lot of fun. So try it out :]
